Tin Man Yoga – 4 week Series
February 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm$80
If you have always wanted to try yoga or simply want to incorporate a little “stretch” into your workout routine, then this class is for you.
Over the past 25 years of teaching yoga, I can’t tell you how many men I have talked to that have said, “I really need to be doing yoga but I am just too stiff.
Well, I hate to say it but the reality is if you aren’t doing something to improve it, it won’t get better. That is like saying, “I am not strong so I can’t lift weights” .. but we know that it is the lifting of weights that will actually make us stronger.
I get it! It can be intimidating to think of stepping into a yoga studio where there are predominately women, who are like Gumby and you think., “There is no way in H__ _- that I am going to be able to do yoga. “
But now there is Tin Man Yoga. – a place to start!! You don’t have to rust… you can move and stretch and regain a more youthful feeling in your body. Tin Man Yoga is specifically tailored for men and focuses on strength, balance, and flexibility
So if you can answer yes to any of the following questions then this class is for you.
Are you noticing that your body is stiffer when you wake up in the morning?
Is it getting harder to bend down and tie your shoes?
Are you feeling stressed out from work or life and in need of a healthy way to manage it?
Do you want to be able to keep up with your kids or grandkids?
Are you still physically active but neglecting the flexibility part of your routine?
There a numerous benefits to having a consistent yoga practice, such as:
Relieving stress and enhancing mental focus,
Improving posture and mood,
Increased energy, improved strength, fewer aches, and pains.
A calmer state of mind decreased anxiety and a more positive outlook on life.
There is no competition in yogic practice. Everything is between you and your mat to find the truest expression of your best self.
How do you get started?
